The IRA is proof that religion, far more than race or geography, is the primary cause of the world’s troubles.

As usual you are an idiot. I am an American of Scots-Irish decent. This is NOT about religion.
This is what it is about:
“the peace process she has long supported in the BRITISH PROVINCE was not yet complete.”
Until England recognizes Ireland as an independent country and allows them to rule themselves apart from England (just like the United States) there will NEVER be a completed peace. Scotland is also struggling for independence from England.
Wow! So, they don’t like her either? Smart people.
ttr, Ireland never fought hard enough for Independence, whereas the United States did. It is clear that today’s Irish lack the necessary ambition or vision for independence. Until they gain it, there will NEVER be a complete peace.
I have to back the Scot on this one.
Ireland truly is a Jewel. I dont have any grudge against the Brits.
We threw off their shackle long ago.
But We had more advantage than Ireland. We had more accessable resources. There was also the proximity factor.
England could not just ferry across troops to shore up their lines an ocean away.
Ireland was too close and too small to stand alone against the English Empire. Its a sad story.
Ireland touches my soul. What a Magnificent place.
My Best wishes to You. Always
