Bravo to Congress. They finally did what they were supposed to do. They set ground rules for further funding beyond 2012, those stipulations weren’t met, so they are cutting off funding. The White House can huff and puff all they want. Sounds like Congress has the votes to override a veto on this matter. BUT, here’s the bigger question..with $1T deficits..why are we paying for air defense protection for Italy and Germany. Here’s a concept…PAY FOR YOUR OWN FREAKIN” MISSILE DEFENSE SYSTEM! AND, are those two countries really in danger of a missile attack from ANYBODY?
