THQ files for bankruptcy, Clearlake to bid for assets

This is not surprising. Sad, but not surprising. They put their money on WWE and rid themselves of any long term properties. Several of us at the time had great ideas, but since they did not have any license attachment to them THQ didn’t want to risk it. They moved Red Faction from FPS to 3rd Person shooter, they lost UFC, and they didn’t want to listen to anyone with a good idea.

This is disheartening since there was so much potential within THQ and hopefully their products will be reimagined by whoever buys them like Midway’s. Good luck to all my friends who are still there and RIP, we’ll remember you fondly THQ.
