The article reads, “At least 3,600 people were killed during Northern Ireland’s darkest period as Catholic nationalists seeking union with Ireland fought British security forces and mainly Protestant Loyalists determined to remain part of the United Kingdom.”

In fact, the “nationalists” were created by the British Security Services to derail the Catholic Civil Rights Movement in the late 1960s, which it did nicely. The same British ploy was used back in the 1880s when Britain sent to Ireland American Fenian terrorists, the purpose of which was to derail the Home Rule movement then sweeping Ireland. Home Rule, of course, was derailed.

What’s so ironic is that the British-turned Sinn Fein now holds political office in the Republic! Michael Collins is grinning at the audacity of the British and the gullibility of the Irish Republic!
