Cannabis was featured in the United States Pharmacopoeia from the days of Sir William Brooke O’Shaughnessy up until the days of Anslinger, when the term “marihuana” was foisted upon us.

The CSA is no more “constitutional” than the 1937 “Marihuana Tax Act” it replaced. Perhaps Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Arvon Perteet can explain why the 18th amendment was “superfluous”, since no such constitutional excuse exists for federal interference in a California-legal medical provider’s operation.
