This is too easy…must be a set up.

Another fiscal, social conservative, who just happens to be/was a church leader telling/preaching to others about how to live and is in a position to enact and influence legislation to do so.

One who is has been quoted in the press as abstaining from alcohol?

The perfect headline would be “Crapo says O-crap”

… to admit that it is a ‘neener, neener’ moment

Really interesting

What is it with ultra conservative senators from Idaho?
Larry Craig, the most anti-gay senator at the time gets caught soliciting gay sex in an airport bathroom
Now, Mike Crapo, who “abstains from alcohol” gets popped with a BAC of 0.11.

Dear well-to-do users of performance-impairing drugs:

As men and women of considerable means, you are able to afford the occasional cab fare, and, in especially sloppy cases, could even afford to hire a full-time chauffeur. Either cost, in the grand scheme of things, would pale in comparison to that inevitably suffered by those who, while pickled, persist in navigating their own way across the highways and byways of this great land of ours. For a United States Senator, this problem is especially easy to solve in an economical manner, as one need only choose ones staff with an eye toward ensuring an ample supply of designated drivers.

Happy New Year,

PS – to Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Princeton, etcetera –

With the untimely demise of in loco parentis, it is clear that you no longer see it as your duty to train your young aristocrats in the proper etiquette associated with the use of performance-impairing drugs, the most ubiquitous of which is alcohol, in its many guises. Nevertheless, it is worth remembering that, as those sprung from the loins of people of quality, your young wards generally have a paucity of experience confronting – ahem – “life’s little problems” unaided. You simply must play the role of Jeeves to their Bertie Wooster. You could do worse than to require that, henceforth, each student must retain the services of his own suitably qualified manservant or her own suitably qualified maidservant.

Have yourself a Merry Fourteenth Baktun,

A DUI? It happens. Most of the D.C. crowd, including democrats do a lot of drinking (or drugs for the Kennedy and Jessie Jackson Representatives), how else could you survive such a meaningless life of talk, lies, inaction, and hypocrisy. Move along, nothing to see here…lol.

Bobber you just don’t get it. Do you? See it for what it is (being a hypocrite). He’s already proven himself a liar.

Too many syllables for you?

Way to go onemind….always “nothing here” when the Repugnant ones” are involved. Talk about narrow minded bias.

Showing great “family values” (Repub mantra) for a church leader, don’tcha’ think?

There’s got to be a way to rationalize Senator Crapo’s drunk driving, maybe even turn it into groundbreaking anti-Obama event…I just can’t think what it is at the moment.

I just hope he doesn’t lose his chairmanship of the Senate COPD – Chronic Obstructive Political Disease – committee. But if he does, he can spend more time with his family. See how everything works out for the best if you just have a little home-fried fundamentalist faith?

Gotta love the Mormons. When they’re not sneaking booze, they’re sneaking porn. Nothing necessarily wrong with either one until you act like you would never ever do such sinful things. Good times. Sanctimony kills.

I’m not the one ignorantly obsessed with hatred and venom…..I simply enjoy the duplicitous folly of you right wingnuts and bigots.

You just cannot resist trying to bring others to your level.

For the record, not that it matters, I never voted for O’b but I do admire his courage and intelligence. I do think he panders too much to the “hands across the aisle” bit. It has not served him or our nation that well with all the lockstep robots of the Repugnican party.
