Shock, heartbreak for U.S. parents adopting Russian kids

I personally do not support baby shopping overseas at all. There are thousands baby’s waiting in your US to be adopted but you will go and shop for a baby overseas and leave the US babies in orphanages?? There is not reason to be upset what so ever. If u r still determined to shop outside your country, next stop – Bangladesh.

There are plenty of children in the U.S. waiting for homes. The cost to foster and adopt these children is a fraction of that of a foreign adoption. I guess it’s just not as trendy.

Leave it to the Russian dictator to use orphan kids as a pawn in his anti-American campaign. I have deep sympathy for those American families who have now lost their chance to bring home a child from that dump of a nation.

Many of these kids have issues like down syndrome and will never get the resourses in Russia that they will get in the US. To say this is “trendy” is ridiculous. This would have been a chance to live as close to a normal life as is possible for them.

People who cannot adopt in US, most likely were rejected by US Family Services, so they go to Russia where rules were lax, hence so many kids killed.
