Seems to me that with the 787 being a brand-new and quite revolutionary airframe that certain problems are to be expected. Despite all the testing that Boeing is able to do during development, there’s no way to simulate the high-strain turnarounds that the planes experience once they enter the commercial fleet.
Lets be glad no one has been hurt, and hope that ANA and Boeing can locate and resolve the underlying issues with the 787 quickly.
