“altered his computer’s network identity” implies that this was done with malicious intent, but from my understanding, when he was blocked from the wireless network, he used a wired connection, much like plugging your laptop in if your wireless network is acting flaky. Different network hardware have different network identities; no altering required.

Both this law and the relics using this to prosecute should be ripped down and dragged through the mud
