Rotten eggs stench reaches UK after French gas leak
It must be re-assuring being told by the chemical company that everything is ok.
This is how France normally smells – nothing unusual about it.

Should be no discernable difference from any other time the wind blows from France.
It is just a cover story. The truth is that the french released a collective fart to show their displeasure with the new tax schedule. The ones with money were able to flee to other lands, the poor masses had no other recourse but to release their internal gases.
This is the fragrance added to natural gas to give it an odor. It is very foul smelling at very low concentrations hence the reason for its use. As for migraines, any strong sensory input like loud noises or bright light can trigger them. As for nausea, the smell of this stuff links right to what most people perceive as putrid. Perception can drive the physical response and is expected to when the natural gas leak is for real.
It wasn’t gas. A dozen Frenchmen took off their shoes at the same time.
from my experience, a gas leak would improve the smell of (at least the northern three quarters of) france
French gas smells differently than English gas?
How many Frenchmen does it take to defend Paris? Nobody knows, it’s never been tried.

Gas does not smell; we smell it.
That’s not gas that smells, it’s French people
I always wondered about the food the French eat.
Blame it on the dog, they can never argue.
Sure it wasn’t just Piers home for the weekend?
Sacre Bleu!!!!!
Funny. Whenever I’m in France I smell unbathed, sweaty people all the time. I’m guessing thisis pretty much the same thing.
