Just change the batteries to Ni-Cad, add another battery if needed, then get rid of something else the plane does not need (cosmetic of comfort that is not really needed) to compensate for the slight extra weight.
Remove a couple of seats if needed.
Is everyone stupid these days? Are engineers stupid? Can anyone in corporate America make a decision without the approval of Goldman Sachs?
