Barring a miracle, there will be no real episode “VII”, you would be better to give a shot at it to some random guy than JJ, at least there would be a slight chance it might well received as part of the cannon. This guy will ruin it for sure and relegate all new movies on the franchise to the 1.99 bin at walmart
