@carloaber, you mean like war criminal Bush did in Iraq?
You have been to Aleppo? How grand! Have you seen what the jihadists have done to it? To its women rights? To its minorities?
Oh, you work for some Saudi think tank, do you?

There is something twisted in France’s thinking.

The islamists are totally in control of the Syrian opposition. Indeed, they ARE the Syrian opposition.

If Islamist take over Syria, then France and the rest of the world knows where to bomb them. I do not see a problem yet.

At the start of this conflict the official line was that this conflict was the work of a few armed gangs, attacking from isolated locations and most of Syria was unaware that there was any fighting at all. I have not seen this line in a while.

Now the line is that the fighters are almost entirely foreign backed with very few actual Syrian’s involved. I assume if Sana reported that the opposition was made up of mostly Syrians hat would give credence that this might be an actual civil war or that the Syrian people are actually disgruntled with their ruler.

The problem I am seeing with the regime propaganda now, that even though they tout the fighters are mostly foreign backed Islamist, the regime reports daily of victories and massive losses of the islamists. So, if the regime is to be believed in that they are winning and killing these people faster than they are killing regime troops, what is the problem?

I think the regime propaganda would be better serve to state there foreign backed islamists who are winning and kicking the regime’s tail at every turn. There is obviously fear in the world of an islamsist take over. But the more the regime claims victory the less of a threat these islamists appear.

O well, I agree with the Russians, Mr. Al Assad, aka The Cowardly Lion, “made a fatal error” and his days may be numbered.

Go Non-Terrorist Insurgents!

simply more western rhetoric like just like Israel and the US saying they’re ready to swoop in once the red line is crossed. they’re simply laying the background work so later when the west openly gets involved they can say “we were left with no choice”

everyone with half a brain cell knows that the Syrian uprising has been hijacked by Islamic extremists and that the western powers, if not openly ARE backing them ( intelligence, money, weapons, a safe haven backed by NATO defense, etc… ).

and if history is any indication, which it usually is…… well just take a look at how things are going in other countries the west has “helped”
