The “Times” wouldn’t have published it if it made fun of or was critical of Islam. Get used to it. There’s a double standard in journalism where Christianity or Judaism is fair game for “courageous” or “provocative” artists to mock, but these cartoonists are far too cowardly to take on Islam.

Recent history shows you are wrong.

There are indeed double standards, specially among a brain-washed sector.

Here’s a difference with a distinction: blood libel in Europe was anti-Semitic & a pack of lies (along with accusation Jews created the plague–I mean as if Jews didn’t die in the plague); however, the Wall Israel is building is a bloody land-grab in violation of the Geneva Conventions and International law. It’s also an extreme violation of Human Rights for the villages and families affected by this blatant ethnic cleansing by the state of Israel.

nobody is ready to bell the cat, well I guess this is just a beginning of a new era of
Freedom of press. I agree with all of the above comments, no more double standards lets go ahead with freedom of speech and let the chips fall where they may.

The timing of the cartoon was indeed insensitive. That said, Jews are I think much too ready to attribute “blood libel” claims against items that no reference to children, and to attribute to writers who may in fact not even know its referent. “Blood libel” has become a stock trope of the Holocaust Industry.
