This doesn’t surprise me. What does surprise me is that Iran stays in the NPT, given that staying in the NPT, complying with NPT, allowing IAEA inspections, allowing continuous monitoring, etc has achieved absolutely nothing.

They would actually be a lot better off leaving NPT. It would save them a whole lot of aggravation.

Iran is playing the ages old game of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. By pretending at semi-compliance with the IAEA and the international community they shake your hand with one arm while holding a knife with the other. make no mistake iran’s overarching purpose is to create nuclear weapons. this would instantly elevate them to a nation status far above where they are today and along with it bring more clout in the region and in the international security as well as greater protections from outside threats. for example, if the exact same scenario that happened with sadaam and iraq happened in north korea, do you think anyone would’ve went in there and did the same thing? all the politicians know the game and that’s what it is to them except we’re talking about life/death of potentially millions.

If Iran’s overarching purpose is to make nukes, why don’t they leave NPT (as North Korea did) and just get on with it?

Iran would never preemptively nuke Israel, the location of some of the holiest sites to Islam. It would be an offense against God. Do remember you believe them to be religious nut-bags.

And just as the Muslims await the arrival of the 12th Imam or Madhi, the Zionists await the first coming of ‘The Savior’. See, but only the Zionists have nuclear weapons, compliments of France and the USA, to wage war on behalf of their xenophobic religous beliefs. The world is held hostage to both of these countries and their religous beliefs, but only one side has the support of the largest military force on the planet. Is not american policy supposed to be separated from religion? No?

6.5 billion people on the planet suffer fear of global war due to a mere 30 million in Israel and 330 million of the usa holding the planet hostage to some ancient belief. Two of the greatest military forces on the planet backing a 2000+ year old belief. Pretty bloody sad, sick joke.

According to what math/fact you derive your “30 million in Israel”?
Wouldn’t 6 or 7 million be more correct? Just wondering.

Which would prove that Israel is the problem, not Iran.

It would be interesting to know who sold Iran the IR2m and IR1m equipment and why the international sanctions imposed on Iran does not apply. Thank you in advance.
