Although they have a long road in front of them, the French have been more successful in a month of combating terrorism than America has been in ten years. The French were spurned by America when they opposed the destruction of Iraq over non-existent “Weapons of Mass Destruction”, and where terrorism is now rampant (33 Iraqis were exploded today) as a result of America’s misjudgments. So, let’s go order some French Fries and have a bottle of Bordeaux and salute the French, despite their socialistic demeanor.

These “victories” will continue to unfold as the low-hanging fruit is plucked by superior firepower.

It is clear that very few Islamist fighters have been killed. In addition, there is no indication that they are about to surrender.

As time wears on, and the dramatic “advances” become passe, we will see
if the forces in northern Mali are restructuring the realities on the ground or simply furnishing guerrillas with fixed targets.

This is great news and all but guess which country will be blamed for this attack? I’m thinking not France.

The only metric by which to measure progress against Sunni Islamic fundamentalists is numbers killed; “pounding” them is not nearly enough.

A dead fundamentalist has zero opportunity to set up the “Hassan Chop” system of jurisprudence they called Sharia.

A dead fundamentalist has zero chance to brutalize and oppress women.

The article reads, ‘”The object of this war should be not just to liberate Mali but to free the whole Sahel from this menace, which threatens not just us but also Europe, France and the world.”‘

Translation: The West is freeing Africa from Western-created “Islamists”. Why would the West create a “terrorist” network, you ask? As a pretext to keep China out of Africa of course. What else?

However this strategy is already a failure because Beijing and Moscow already knew about it before the fraudulent “War on Terror” commenced on September 11, 2001. So why do Communist strategists in Beijing and Moscow continue to have Chinese all over Africa drilling and pumping for oil, you ask? Elementary my dear Watson, Moscow and Beijing wants as many Western troops out of their respective nations as possible, isolated in far away outposts where they can be easily destroyed piecemeal when the time comes. You see, China’s oil concerns were taken care of on January 1, 2011 with the opening of the Russia to China oil pipeline! Expect several more such pipelines to come on line soon.

And, to continue what could be a very long list…

A dead fundamentalist has a negligible opportunity to destroy the priceless cultural treasures of earlier (non-Muslim) civilizations.

But, I’ll stop here.
Bottom line: There’s really no down side dead Islamists.
