Iran hedges on nuclear talks with six powers or U.S.

Iran strikes me as a country who’s leaders are snakes in the grass, Hey much like our congress! :).

The world is coming to a fork in the road on the Iran nuclear program. Iran will not be able to stall and dissemble indefinitely. And the end point of the finite period of during which Iran is able to stall and dissemble is approaching. When that end point arrives, the world will have reached the fork in road on the Iran nuclear program. One factor that Iran may not have anticipated is that the increasingly chaotic situation in Syria may actually reduce the downside risks of overt action against Iran’s nuclear program. As regional chaos increases, the incremental destabilization added by dealing with Iran may have less significance.

Maybe a nuke will go off in Tehran. That ought to slow down their program. Good idea for Pyongyang. Ahmadinejad and Il Jong gone in a fell swoop.

Iran continues its stalling tactics. With Obama in office they’re fairly safe from the US. Nor do they have to worry about the EU, Russia or China. Only Israel is a threat and it’s unlikely that Israel could carry out a debilitating strike at that distance against such hardened facilities. No, the West will talk, Asia will do nothing and Iran will have nuclear weapons. The Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty is a sad joke, and perhaps it always was.

I’ve never understood why the U.S. has molly-coddled Iran. The embassy kidnappings were technically an act of war (despite the so-called cover of ‘students’), but Carter went for a (failed) commando raid and Reagan (via Ollie North) bribed them by supplying illegal arms. Bush spent a $trillion in Iraq and Afghanistan – but ignored the source of all the anti-US terrorists – Iran. Thirty years later and nothing has changed. Why?

It is plain and obvious, Iran is controlling the USA and other countries that don’t want Iran to have nuclear weapons. They have had enough time to make their facilities available for inspectors. This is nothing but a game and Obama is letting them conrol the situation. Obama is VERY VERY weak and must be replaced from office before America is in a revolution or attacked by one of these terrorist countries. America has shown her weakness the past 4 years by not having LEADERSHIP at all. We are doomed as a divided nation and not respected around the world at all.

Hey pat, the US is not “molly-coddling” Iran. Certainly not under President Obama. I mean really, how do you ignore all of the sanctions that the present POTUS has called for and have been put into place, all of the reported covert actions, and the ones that I certainly assume are not being reported.

In any case, Iran has legitimate security needs, that much is obvious because even though the state of Iran has never threatened Israel, that tiny but very loud state has threatened Iran on numerous occasions, even very recently Bibi has been bleating about it after the Israeli elections.

Iran is a signatory to the NNPT, Israel is not. Iran has IAEA inspectors, Israel does not. Israel has at least 200 nukes that we know of, Iran has ZERO.

It’s not molly-coddling, it’s reality. Attacking Iran who has attacked no one would be an act of war that would change geopolitics in unforeseen ways forever, and the resulting worldwide economic depression and WW III would reorder the entire world largely because of paranoia on the part of Israel.

And of course during that time, Israel would be _gone_. There would be no more Israel, and the carnage as described above would be laid at the feet of the attacker.

That’s why no war like action has been taken and Israel the US client state most responsible for instigating such a fool hardy action has been told NO by the United States.

The trolls like American Guy are just that. Foolhardy warmongering trolls who simply do not matter do not control US foreign policy because their extreme ignorance is simply not remotely credible.

The only way forward is negotiations that fully take into consideration who the real instigator is, and Iran’s legitimate security concerns.

Iran is far more in the right than they are in the wrong and certainly nothing they have done thus far warrant plunging the planet into WW III just because a few trolls and Israel desires it.

I suggest reading Robin Wright and some Anthony Cordesman on the real issues and history involved, never listen to trolls, and never turn to Faux News for any information at all.

Question to you is why didn’t Reagan attack Iran to prevent Iran from”controlling the situation”. Again why didn’t Bushes, father and son, attack Iran?

Why then not attacking Iran by three republican presidents makes them strong and Obama doing the same thing makes hin weak?

A country that holds a nuclear arsenal over the heads of all of the middle east; that utters constant threats against Iran (and carries them out); a nation that holds land that doesn’t belong to them and has an aggressive imperialist nature has no business saying anyone else is a threat to the Middle East. Everything Israel says needs to be passed through a bullcrap and rhetoric filter first before we even begin to consider it real.

In nearly 100 years, Iran has never struck at another nation; not even in retaliation. It hasn’t invaded any nations, and supported nations that Israel has threatened and/or stolen land from. Maybe we don’t agree with the philosophy of those nations, but the fact of the matter is that Israel only started earning enemies when it started invading other nations for no reason, and annexing land that didn’t belong to them; that the UN rejected their ownership of.

Iran is surrounded by the heavily-armed bases of nations outspokenly aggressive against it; even though they’ve proven time and again that they don’t have a nuclear weapon program, can you really blame them if they did want one? They’re sitting ducks; the victims of American-led antithapy and hatred, suffering untold deaths every year from American and Israeli sabotage and assassination. Can you really blame them if they wanted something to hold back the dogs nipping at them from every direction?

Let me clue you in friend. If you read the Israeli media on a day to day basis, you would realize that many in Israel proper have stated over and over again the damage that people like you are doing to Israel worldwide by writing nonsense day after day.

In other words, with every post you write with the nonsense you include it is _you_ who is de-legitimizing Israel to the point where the next stop is facing charges at the ICC.

If you were in favor of a safe and secure Israel you would be encouraging them to stop violating international law and international human rights law.
