The UN can’t even take his X-box away. They don’t have any authority to do anything more than to “strongly condemn these actions”.

Firm U.N. action? HA! Their actions are as firm as Rosie ODonnell’s waistline! Check out Syria, Mr. U.N. How’s that going?

The nuclear test will occur and soon, It woudld not be surprising if it was an open air test to intimidate South Korea or a missile launch high altitude test conducted off shore much like the US did above Johnston island in the Pacific in the late fifties. The western nations must prepare for future action by both North Korea and Iran having shared nad developed the secrets of producing ICBM and IRBM delivered nuclear weapons and their seeming desire for conflict and war.

It seems the only way forward in dealing with North Korea is for the North Koreans themselves to dismantle this horrific regime that has caused so much suffering and brutality to its own people.

I’m sure if given the chance most of the North Korean army would arrest these despots who have starved their own people to death.

It depends on the type of “firm” that will take the action. If this is one of the US financial firms that caused the financial crisis of 2008 to the present, we may want their investment analysts, executives, and board of directors to stand next to the North Korean nuclear device as it detonates. This allows the US to rid itself of some of its criminal financial leaders because that is the best “firm” response to make to North Korea’s nuclear development.

What are they going to do, send him a strongly worded letter? The UN can’t do anything. Won’t do anything. Because of China. Although, even China is getting sick of their antics, finally.
