I don’t think that Europe will freely buy American. They do to a point, but only so far. Hopefully, I’m wrong. But perhaps that while ‘by the numbers’ America stands to gain export business, in reality only Europe will gain. Americans seem to be willing to buy from just about anybody…. Like I said, hopefully I’m wrong. That would be great!

Why not? From (and for) both sides, as long as a product is prominently marked for what it is, leave the choice to the consumer: be it genetically modified, or whatever else. That choice for the individual is the essence of western culture, yet we only ever see attempts to decide for us.
