Windows RT “is” Plan B. Microsoft Windows can not run on a tablet. It use to be able too a long time ago before their were tablets but as a strategy to woo Intel, Microsoft made their OS require more and more hardware thus making Intel more money and strengthening their relationship. Microsoft has created a Sherman Tank of a gas guzzler PC. They tried Plan B with the Windows RT tablet but there was no interest as it did not run any legacy software so Microsoft finds itself stuck with regular windows. They themselves backed themselves into this corner and now the heavy, poor battery live, even though the battery is a monster, requiring two fans is their only option. Linux on the other hand can run on a Raspberry Pi.
