So the wicked king Obama is going to be more forthtelling about how he will murder us with drone strikes. How gracious of him.

Is this the same “deserve” as taking away our guns? Damn hypocrite.

There is little that Obama has accomplished during his tenure as president, other then divide and bankrupt us. However the aggressive use of drones to kill our enemies overseas is a significant accomplishment. There are certain things that should not be made public and that the president should have the ability to undertake. This is one of them. While congress needs to have oversight, it must be in closed hearings. We tend to broadcast to our enemies our future plans way too much. Let’s not this be one of them. The idea of justice coming suddenly and silently from the sky has strategic value. Remember all presidents have the authority to launch our nukes which is more serious then drones by an infinite measure.

What about the Constitution?

These killings reflect badly on the President, and on the nation.

Not only do we need to consider national policy and regulation of drones, we will also need to build up a civil defense structure to defend against them. In a very short time it will be feasible for drones to hit virtually anywhere in the USCA. Simple matters like rigging the libor rate, or doing business as John Corzine and others have done, could result in a drone flying into the window of the board room. We wouldn’t want that to happen now would we? Well, maybe some of us would but the point being it is going to be far more difficult to defend against this type of technology. It will have to be considered in private corporate defense as well. Drone tech is in its infancy now, but will grow faster than the weeds on the old “Battle Tank” plant parking lot.

I find it ironic that Americans who love Dirty Harry, Mission Impossible, James Bond, and Die Hard are now “outraged” when the POTUS goes all 007 on alqueda terrorists who willingly plot with alqueda, and post videos of their threats on YouTube, from their dens from Yemen, where the local govt is completely happy to point them out as a terrorist threat and supply strike coordinates.

Color me unsympathetic to terrorists and supportive of our President.

Too bad we didn’t have the drone force in place before 911 to take out OBL. Should we take reasonable precautions against the very same types of outlandish terrorist threats now if presented with such data? Heck yes. If you don’t want to be drone-struck, don’t post threats to kill Americans on YouTube from your terrorist lair.

That’s “Democratically elected by a clear majority of Americans – Tyrant Obama” to you.

@timbuk3 Not so good at math are you? Barry won the majority of votes yes (52.9%), but only 60% of registered voters voted. So barry won the election on the votes of a mere 31-32% of total registered voters. That is not anywhere even close to a ‘clear majority of Americans’. But you do keep on thinking the lefties are supported by a ‘super majority’. No wonder the USA is falling so fast.

Well votes only count when people vote, so clearly Obama won the majority of votes in the election. Lefty? I think the majority of people are pretty much in the center or slightly left or right, depending on the issue.

On the other hand you clearly qualify to be labeled a right wing-extremist nut by most people. Guess you watch too much entertainment on FOX Comedy and jokers Rush and Beck…. those three wouldn’t know news if it slapped in the face.

Not sure what country you live in, but the current country is better off then when Little Bush ran things and got us into the bad economy with the massive tax cuts and two unfunded wars. You lose…..
