Well, at least they’re giving Americans credit (albeit undeserved) with coming up with a weapon so “out of this world.”

“Residents… heard an explosion, saw a bright light and then felt a shock wave…”

Either Reuters mis-quoted, or this shows how unreliable even “eyewitnesses” can be. Clearly, the bright light happened first, then the sounds and shock wave arrived later. Light travels about a million times faster through the atmosphere than sound does. (300 million m/s versus ~340 m/s, depending on atmospheric conditions.)

What else could have injured anyone if not flying glass? I can’t think of anything except, perhaps, traffic accidents? Apparently, no one was hit by a fragment.

Sounds like Russia’s FEMA is on the job? Or so Minister Puck-Off says
Maybe they will blame it on our president, like some of the dumb teabaggers/racists do. In Russia, they get Put-in Gulag for that.

@Doc62 I remember for eight years everything that went wrong was blamed on Bush. Even now, four years after the man left office, he still gets blamed by the Democrats. The hypocrisy is unbelievable.

I still think our liberals are more disturbed and paranoid than their liberals.

@bates148 We are a negative attitude based society. Everyone loves attacking a president(bipartisan). Nixon(Rep) did the best job and got the most flack. Other than the WMD hoax, I havie nothing against the Bushs. “Guess you won’t have GW to kick around anymore.”

Actually, i read about at least one injury from shockwave but not from glass – some guy was opening metal door at the moment, his fingers got amputated(. Also there were some contusions due to flying door frames etc.

Modern “Liberals” are same everywhere, it’ just that currently “yours” are at “HQ” while “ours” are more like “regional salespersons”.
Though i think that “yours” are more careful in their words, some of “ours” would could simply lynched if spoke in America ’bout America same way as they talk in Russia ’bout Russia – or would get a lawsuits with words like “hate speech” in headers if to go more “liberal” way.

I guess Tunguska was some “American weapon” or some “military thing” or “the end of the world”.

Amazing. Tunguska. 1908. We’re still here.
