Facebook hacked, social media company says

This is the main reason I don’t participate on any of the popular “social networks”.

Probably just the CIA testing out some of it’s new software.

“Oops, sorry about that….we swear we didn’t see any of your -private information-.”

Why bother?

I like how the article added that little tidbit about China at the end as if to suggest something. Never mind the fact that Facebook is not a newspaper and it is not even allowed in China. Sort of begs the question why would hackers from China bother to attack it? Got to love irrelevant conspiracy theories.

Another patently bigoted post by Reuters, which is now famous for promoting war crimes, bigotry, hacking, cyber-bullying.
What’s the difference between the way Reuters pretends that its server is down in an active effort to suppress American democratic voices.

Other than the fact that the government of China is known to closely track the activities of it citizens when abroad, and could harvest vast amount of info quickly by having that type of access I think Chinese hackers would do it for either practice or the esteem it would build in the hacker corp. Oh, and that their military has a hacker corp is not conspiracy theory.

The last I heard there are close to 30,000 cases of identity theft every day. Much of the stolen info is taken right from FB or similar sites where idiot users put their entire lives online for all to see.
