North Carolina enacts law slashing jobless benefits

Yes! The FIRST bill was to give the sorry LEGISLATURE a RAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Democrats — from Obama on down, along with their wholly anti-socialist and corporatist allies in the union bureaucracies — are attacking the working class just as viciously as the Republican are; voting in Democrats at the level of the North Carolina Legislature, the North Carolina Governor’s House, the Federal House of Representatives, the Senate and the White House will do absolutely nothing to stop the capitalist class — which controls both parties lock, stock and barrel — from continuing to wage a brutal offensive against the living standards of the working class.

In order to guarantee a decent standard of living to every man, woman and child in North Carolina, the US and the entire world, we need real socialism, which can’t be achieved except through the broadest possible mobilization of the working class against all existing capitalist governments, whether right or nominally “left.”
