Why didn’t we hear public outcry there for gun control than in U.S.? It seems ok in South Africa for police to shoot at vehicle disobeying stop-order given nobody is hurt or killed. With such high sense of insecurity, no wonder Pistorius kept a pistol under his pillow.

There’s still so much to be learned about this case that jumping to conclusions would be totally unjustified, but am I the only one thinking O.J. Simpson & Mark Fuhrman?

Without judging in this case, let me tell you that there are 45 or more murders PER DAY in South Africa. Yes, the wild west. Walls, fences, armed response on your alarm, to be on the look-out for criminals attemping to attach your house is a normal thing here.

In the light of this, Pistorius explanation is acceptable.

Indeed everybody in SAfrica is paranoid. With a president that gives the example of singing “bring me my machinegun”, no wonder plenty of criminals also want a piece of that free pie, taking a life is then a minor issue, or no issue for them.

I hope they put the misogynic brute behind bars for the rest of his life, and feed his cell mates testosterone. Just another bullying, cowardly Olympic doping cheat, this time with blades instead of a bike.
