Isn’t it about time to find out who supplies the centrifuges rather than complaining all the time?

not really a breaking news story, seeing as Iran sent a letter to the IAEA a month ago, stating this was exactly their intended plan.

“Iran wants them to recognize what it regards as its right to refine uranium for peaceful purpose and to relax sanctions battering its oil-dependent economy.”

what “it” regards??

being a signatory of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran “does” have the right to peacefully develop nuclear technology.

And people sneer when the IAEA is called a sham.

If iran is not doing anything illegal (as they Claim), what is the rush to make so much enriched uranium so quickly?

“In a confidential report, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said 180 so-called IR-2m centrifuges and empty centrifuge casings had been put in place at the facility near the central town of Natanz. They were not yet operating.”

Horrible journalism! The phrase “had been put in place at the facility” is ambiguous between they’re at the facility but still in the shipping crates, they’re being installed, and they’re all installed, but not refining uranium yet. Why this significant ambiguity? Isn’t the basic idea to INFORM? Is the reporter trying to rhetorically cover his failure to get the whole story, or is this sort of saying something with saying it editorial policy at Reuters? It’s horrible journalism whatever the reason for it.

Ridiculous. Israel is the nation with undeclared nuclear weapons. It is time for the US to dump Israel and stop being such chumps.

sensationalizing and misrepresenting Iran again. Iran reported the new centrifuges to IAEA as expected. Same with Fordor

What is troubling the west is the economy in shambles.
This whole ‘Iranian nuclear threat’ fairly tale, which is the premise for brutal sanctions, is a desperate effort to prevent Iran, an ally of China and Russia, to become an influential player in a region with the most significant natural resources and geographical sensitivity.

Not to worry, Obama has said that he WILL NOT let Iran get a nuke.

Yes, it “troubles the West”. They have “serious concerns”.

So is the world planning on doing anything?? This Arab Hitler will hold the world hostage. Iran currently uses its oil wealth to underwrite and arm Hezbollah and al-Quaida.

It is good that the ever vigilant Obama administration continues to whine about the Iranian efforts to arm themselves. I hope the mullahs give in to the whining and disarm.

I met a man who just came to the US. from Iran 6 months ago. I asked if the Iranians were afraid of the Americans…he laughed…but then his face turned serious and he said, “They are scared as hell of the Israelis.”

Nothing new here..the centrifuges were supplied by Pakistan (US ally?). Iran has the right to enrich uranium-they are a signatory to the IAEA.
When Israel allows inspection of its nuclear facilities, I’ll be in support of sanctions on Iran. (Something tells me we’ll be waiting a bit).As far as making A-Bombs-NO hard evidence provided by anybody. Remember those Iraqi WMDs? The ones that Gen Powell told us about at the UN? Fool me twice, shame on me!
