I Googled SE’EER West Bank and got Zero Results but upon looking at a map of the West Bank I did find a village called SI’IR.

Is this the Se’eer that Reuters is refering to?

In another Reuters story/video they refered to a place called Beit Ainoon where rock throwing youths clashed with some Isreali troops.

Again using Google Maps I could find any Se’eer or Beit Ainoon in the West Bank.

I did find a reference to a place call Beit Ainun that said it was about 3 miles NE of Hebron where on that map in that area there is a village called Si’ir.

I’m kind of a geography buff so I would really like to know if Rueters is getting the spelling of these places correct.

“Palestinian Uprising”?
I they meant to say “Palestinians fighting for freedom and human rights”.
What would they call our founding fathers these days, “anarchist terrorists”?

@Harry079 Given that these place names are either Hebrew or Arabic, I would imagine there’s no “correct” way to spell them in the Latin alphabet
