I am sorry but who named McCain as an expert on immigration? I live in Arizona and have been thououghly dismayed at the Senators views on immigration and more. In my opinion his recent antics on the Armed Services Comittee, doing his best to embarass and discredit his “friend” Chuck Hagel, clearly shows how his personal biases overwhelms any real ability to be objective. Perhaps his best effort might be to convince our governor Jan Brewer to allow kids brought to this country unwittingly “breaking the law” by their Mexican parents the right to get drivers licenses. The Obama presidency has made it possible for these people who only want to be productive citizens the opportunity to move forward toward citizenship, and brewer is obsessed with blocking their way at every turn. I highly doubt their is any middle ground to be met between Obama and McCain. Far more likely Mccain will try to engage the President in an arm twisting contest.

The president may as well simply bang his head against the wall — and get the same result as meeting with McCain and Boehner. Those two Republicans do not come to “meet” they come to yell “no”, preferabley with photographers while the stand in front of the American flag (which they do not honor anymore, they should sew up their own flag with the words NO in big letters).

Shouldn’t it really state Obama will meet with one grumpy old man, and one prima donna of the Sunday morning talk shows?

There already is a clear path to citizenship for the estimated 11 million immigrants in the United States illegally. And that is, to return to your country and apply from there. Obama can refuse to enforce the law all he wants, but that’s not going to change it.

These are people who drive without insurance, drive without licenses, trash single family houses by packing them with 30 inhabitants, forge counterfeit IDs, steal identities, make up social security numbers, fill our prisons, sponge off our emergency rooms for healthcare, put their kids through school on the American taxpayers’ dime. It would seem to me, these are the sort of trash you would never want to bestow US citizenship, let alone have them trespassing in your country.
