Time to go. These people refuse to step up. There’s a saying that people tend to get the government they deserve, and that couldn’t be more accurate than in Afghanistan. They deserve Karzai, corruption, and chaos — and, a few days after we leave, the Taliban. Please, let’s never make this mistake again. NO MORE NATION-BUILDING!!!!

Longest war in american history and a total failure. America went to war in Afghanistan to remove the Taliban, and the Taliban are ready to take power again as soon as they leave. /failsauce

So the Afghan people suffer a civilian slaughter for over a decade, and the only people to benefit are the corporations that make their living as war merchants. Nothing ever changes.

Funny thing is that the American military, for all their technological gizmos, have had their arse handed to them by illiterates living in caves using small arms and improvised explosives. This is the same military that thinks it could walk through North Korea in a day or two, hehe. Break the economy and then lose the war.

Karzi and the Afgans living in that part of hell want us gone. So be it. We need to pull all of our people, and all of our equipment out now and quit wasting money and lives there. What we cannot haul out – we need to destroy so that the Taliban cannot use that equipment against us in another part of the world.

When Karzi lashed out at us, we should have taken our manpower and tows and money and simply gone home. Then he could turn his country back over to the Taliban as he is so determined to do, and they can once again sink into their “old testiment lifestyle.”

Even Karzai knows the Taliban will take over. I guarantee you he will be out of Afghanistan the same day the last US troops leave – but he will be leaving with millions stashed away somewhere. Let’s turn him over to the Taliban and then leave. NOW!!!!
