He’s going to wish he worked the overtime when he starts paying off that four hundred million dollar restitution bill in seventeen years. Maybe less if he behaves. The good news is he’ll still have thirty years of work eligibility to pay it off. I hope he gets a good job.
I wonder what he was going to do with his afternoon off?

What kind of nonsense is a $400,000,000 dollar fine on someone who makes $10 an hour? And he has to pay it during and after 17 years in prison?

Still an amateur compared to the trillions bush cost america in Iraq. Any idea how long he is going to serve in prison or how long it is going to take him to pay it off?

Well, given the amount of damage he caused, the restitution seems reasonable, just in case he somehow manages to win the lottery or something. Restitution should not be based on ability to pay, but on how much damage was done.
