Sounds like a luv triangle or something. Violent stuff happens at military bases just like in the civilian world. Back in 86, we had a multi victim shooting at one of the bases that I was stationed at for training. I think it was Great Lakes. Some guy was dropped from a training program and went off on the instructors and killed people. This is nothing new. The media may be focusing on it more.

And the plot thicken, there was a chick involved, a love triangle. The military has been turn from a fighting machine and into a Progressive Liberal Degenerate social experiment. One of the boys made a move on the other boys gal pay and she like it, oh well.

The Clinton and Obama, and perhaps Bush, Adminstrations have turned the U.S. military into meals on wheels and let’s all get into the hot tub [foxhole] toether, and have a fun time.
Except for those on the front line in Afgranistan and Iraq or Benghazi where the face of
death is real.
The social planners who immigrated from the university sociology and psychology departments, aided and abetted by the likes of Pat Schroder and the cabel of feminists
who “hate” the male thing in the miltary and civilian employees of the Pentagon have
turned the military into a “let’s be nice” and “make love, not war” grouping.
The Nation is on the edge of international conflict, and we are not prepared and Dumbo in the White House wants to down size the military, which he hates, so that the Muslim hordes will succeed unlike the Polish knights that thwarted the Muslim advance on the gates of Vienna [Wien] in 1638 A.D.
We are in a ditch, folks, and continuing to dig. By the way, what is your bracket predictions?
Can you match Obama? That is his thing. The military is not worth defending in his estimation. But I care deeply.

If it is indeed a love triangle issue, it is another casualty of our co-ed policy for the military. Tell it like it really is….When you have men and women living and training together, these things will eventually happen.

The news media has just about lost some more readers. The people in my company were just talking about the fact that “Hospital infections kill more Americans than AIDS, breast cancer, and automobile accidents combined.”

All you have to do is enter a death chamber (called a hospital) to expose yourself to diseases that have no known treatment and a 50% death rate. MRSA is nothing compared to some of the latest infections. Hospital super-germs are the fourth leading cause of death in the United States. I could write a book about how these are spread here, while the Netherlands stopped them cold.

We surely need a news media back in this nation.

Definitely a love triangle. Been there, seen it and I could write novels and soap operas on the days of our lives in the Military.

We saw a guy try and kill himself in basic. He smuggled a round from the firing range, put the bullet next to his head later, and then hit the back of the round with a sharp rock. Fortunately the round did not go off. He was totally crazy.
People do go crazy and these things happen.
By the way Reuters, NO CONNECTION BETWEEN THIS AND THE MORTAR MISFIRE, OK?

I think maybe Feinstein needs to look into banning assault rifles in the military! If it saves at least one life, it would be worth it right?? And let’s look into banning multiple round magazines, so they can’t kill multiple persons before reloading. and while she’s at it, maybe they should pass a law that only the mentally competent in the military can have access to an assault rifle!

This comment from Chuck Hagel sums up the disdain the Obama administration has for the military. It states “His Heart and His prayers” The man can’t even take the time to write that short little statement himself. He has one of his secretaries do it for him. I guess he’s just to darned important to take one minute out of his life to write something himself, about 10 Marines lives ending under his watch.

Maybe since the truth about this incident is not known, we could wait to find out. I cannot believe the drivel some of you are spouting. This is a very tragic incident that happens often outside of the military. That it happened at Quantico just drives home the fact that in addition to everything else, military people face the same stresses as everyone. Please do not make this a political statement about women in the military. It is simply a very tragic human story.
