He is just trying to acclaim popularity, if i had not served a mission (Port Harcourt Nigeria Mission} one could deceive me on that, but i stand today to acclaim and proclaim that missionary work is divine and indispensable, a place where both the missionary(ies) and the investigator(s)/members are being blessed and felt peace and happiness. i would rather want to leave these scripture quotations for his reminder, not as way of chasetizement but a way of showing love and concern – Hebrew 6:4-6, 9-19; Galatian 4:9; 2Peter 2:18-21; Alma 5:37-39; 39:6; Doctrines & Covenant 76: 31-35. Amen. Calabar, CRS-Nigeria

I have served mission as well in Germany Berlin mission and that was the best 18 months. Missionaries are not alone in this divine work. I am a member since 2004- 9 years. I was 16 when I was baptized. I want to say only one thing. If you go on the mission you have to know why!! If you ever had any problem do not blame your mission or that it was hard or that you couldn’t do something you wanted to do. Mission is all about love. If you don’t love your God, you can’t give that small 2 years or 18 months to the Lord. If you have faith its enough to bring forth great miracles. I loved that time and I wished I could bring that time back. My heart aches for that writer.

Hi.
Im returned missionary. My name is Marianne from Estonia who served mission in Moscow West Mission. Came back from mission last summer (June of 2012).
I am converted into this church almost 5 years ago. I choosed to serve mission because I received answer from God that I should do it. It was really hard decision for me because Im only member from my family who has joined to church. But I felt that everything will be ok with my family.
Mission was best choice I have ever made(of course choosing to be baptised to God church was and is best choice I ever made).
During mission was of course sad days but It all was more blessing for me. Mission helped me a lot, I got better and stronger person. I know what I want and Im wiser with my decisions.
And best part of that are the people in whose life I could play such big role. I saw how really God loves them and how He works. Lots of Miracles. It was amazing and still is to use Gods Spirit in teaching/service/etc.
I have strong testimony that Mission is a sacred work of God. Its time we forget ourselves and do HIS work. Its a huge privilege and blessing to have this kind opportunity.
When we serve mission with our full heart and with dedication we will receive lots of blessings in this life and after this life for us and for our family.
I cant imagine what would be my life and my family and my friends (all of them who are not church members) lifes when I would go and serve God. They have received so many blessings because I love them all so much and Im ready to do everything for them. Serving Lord is a greatest opportunity for that.
I also saw missionaries in my mission who werent dedicating themselves 100 % for this work. They werent ready, they just came, and of course they ended up by leaving mission, encouraged. But I have seen missionaries like me, who prepared their hearts and enjoyed that time so much that it is for them and for me the best time in our lives.
First we need to believe in God and trust Him. His ways are not our ways either His thoughts our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8).
Also another good scripture Psalm 46:10.
God is forgiving always for us. We just need turn our hearts to Jesus and God. They know us inside-out. They love us and give us the peace when we need it. You need to pray more often and restore connection with God. We all can say all different things but as you know, we all cant receive answers for your worries/problems, we can guide you by our Spirits, you need to do the first step and God will do His.
