Hey, I know! Let’s go to Pakistan this year for our vacation! It’s so relaxing and peaceful there. There is so much to see and do and the people are so friendly. In the evening, we can enjoy the night life, come back to the hotel and have a few cocktails by the pool!

Why are the killers referred to as “gunmen” – they are NOT men, they are snivelling cowards…more than likely the big brave heroes from the taliban who kill and maim schoolgirls – I really can’t comprehend how much courage it takes to attack an unarmed school girl…stunning bravery!

And we’ll never know who did it, there’s too many interested parties in this conflict, but I doubt the “tourists” were killed by the Taliban. The Taliban are controlled by the ISI and I’d happily wager $100 that the “Pakistani tour guides” were the “tourists” ISI contacts.

Have been to a few muslim countries due to fathers jobs and the same scene is everywhere- at every corner bunch of good for nothing dudes squirting and doing nothing. I don’t know why they all squirt. Women work like horses but men do nothing. Everything is dirty, no lightest landscaping around the houses but they stand or not, quirt at every corner and chew something. Do you think it is hard to recruit and influence these men that are everywhere doing nothing. There are even no sports, no arts. May be some soccer playing but for regular guys even that is not liked.

Sad that the innocent are so often the victims. Add Pakistan to the list of places I’d like to visit but won’t chance because it’s just too risky.
I know life is full of risks but I like better odds.

Exactly how did this mysterious group of “Russians, Ukrainians, and Chinese” get there in the first place? Did they trespass across the border from the Chinese side?

There are devastating attacks in Pakistan nearly every day. Whether it’s militants, soldiers or civilians people die. Travel to disturbed areas carries substantial risk. Then again with over 5000 Americans shot dead in the city of Chicago in the past 10 years one might well think first before traveling there.

Some of you armchair experts should turn off Fox News and get out more. Conspiracy, black ops, who would go there? Seriously, actually it had been a previously safe area where serious mountaineers go to climb this time of year some of the world’s biggest mountains. You’d never know busy at home on the sofa watching CNN.

These guys are real warriors, picking and killing mountain climbers, I would label them as cowards and the people who ordered them as little children.

Why would you go to the place on earth filled with the most hate? Your cheap vacation did not work out so well. Let the hate filled Muslim people have this area. Fight to make sure nothing of use ever goes there.

If Nanga Parbat was the only mountain in the world it would be sad but it is not so the only reasonable comment is to suggest that people think about the situation in a country before going there///

One of my dreams was to visit the Karakoran highway along Pakistan, it seens that this is a terrible idea. Those muslim terrorists makes no distinction between foreigners after all, we’re all moving target practices for them.

Nobody deserves to be murdered… but some tourists just don’t seem to understand that they can’t nose around the Pakistani wild country (actually almost anywhere in Pakistan) the Iranian border… much of Mexico… any more than they could have “toured” Iwo Jima in February of 1945.

You’ve got to be a little daft to go to Pakistan as a tourist! Or maybe these people just don’t bother with world news and silly stuff like that. Kind like the American woman who hitchhiked in India, at night, alone . . . DUH!

I hate to question the intelligence of these Taliban murderers but what in the world do Ukrainians, Russians and Chinese have to do with their problems in Pakistan. If they want to kill someone it should be Americans. And even though Americans are a very ignorant bunch of looney toons they are not foolish enough to be a tourist in Pakistan.

I used to work with a Pakistani man that was married to an American woman. His father died and I asked him if he was taking his wife with him when he went back to Pakistan for the funeral.
He looked at me like I was the stupidest person Earth and said “Are you kidding? Those people are crazy over there.”
The Pakistanis know it isn’t safe over there. Why would anybody go there?

How is it we hear about tourists killed by Pakistanis but we don’t hear about Pakistanis, often children, killed by US drones?

They are not Talibans who killed them. Nobody can hike those mountains without special hiking equipment so how come can Taliban reach there to kill the tourists? I smell black ops there from cross border.
