“1972 – The U.S. Supreme Court lets stand a Minnesota Supreme Court ruling…”

The U.S. Supreme Court refuses to even hear or rule on the case.

“1977 – … Milk was shot and killed in 1978.”

City Supervisor Harvey Milk was assassinated, along with Mayor George Moscone, by a former city supervisor, Dan White.

“2003 – The U.S. Supreme Court … reverses the 1986 Bowers ruling.”

[STATING IN THE OPINION: "Bowers was not correct when it was decided (1986), and it is not correct today."]

“2012 – Obama becomes the first U.S. president to endorse gay marriage … [AFTER] North Carolina approves a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage in May.”

The history of gay rights cannot be whitewashed. The long delays of justice and the hatred cannot be covered up.
