People everywhere are awakening to the muslim problem.

They dont get along well with others.

Buddhist monks just don’t want to be left behind in notoriety for extremism and violence in the name of religion. But aggression led by religious heads is really too extreme. You would have to go back to the crusades and the inquisition to find this kind of despicable behavior in the name of religion. Burma was better off under military rule

Loucleve2@ I think its more accurate to say that muslims dont get along well not only with others but also between their religion divisions shiits sunnis and all this crap.they pretend the religious but the eat occasionally human flesh just like in syria.hypocrits.

Every minority anywhere is, or has been, accused of doing this, or something like it. Minorities can’t be both minorities and majorities at the same time and yet so many seem to fall for the line that minorities can dominate anything.

So, the “peaceful” Buddists are killing Muslims.
Just like the peaceful “Christians” and peaceful “Jews”.

Wake up people, there is no peace among any humans, be it Jew, Christian, or Muslim.

It is not the religion that is the problem. If you want to see the problem, look in the mirror!

It’s very funny to see that “Kyaw Lwin’s widow, 65, whose name was withheld at the family’s request” though her son’s name Aung Lwin Tun is mentioned clearly. Her name is Molly and she worked as a clerk for Kyaw Lwin when he opened up a private school at his apartment on the upper block of 39th Street, Rangoon, (Kyauktada township) in early 70′s. Kyaw Lwin was an ex-monk indeed, but pretending to be the most-learned of all. His other pen-name is Sakkya Yin Soe (Thakkya Yin Soe, in Burmese pronunciation) as he passed the Saakya Siha exams, the lowest level of Buddisht tehchings. He was the guy who knew which side of the bread was buttered.

This article is a shameless hit piece masquerading as journalism. No where does it present the Buddhist side. Think about this: Buddhism prohibits the killing of all life, even the most insignificant ant or mosquito. Devout Buddhist wear a mask so as not to accidentally breathe in a mosquito and kill it. So what would cause Buddhist to start fighting Muslims? How bad was Muslim aggression that it forced even Buddhists to resort to violence? A real journalist would have answered that question.

There are many christians and hindus in Myanmar too. They all live in pefect harmony with the majority buddhists. Never heard of a real issue with them in the name of religion. So, why muslims?
I think everybody knows the answer.
Why is it no news at all when muslims don’t like other religions or even each other? Why big news when buddhists don’t like muslims?

The muslim aggression was so bad that a muslim shopowner declined to sell an item for the asking price of a buddhist woman, so that showner is now sitting in jail, there are hundreds kiled as a result of that incident, which was fanned by buddhist monks, and over a hundred thousand homeless.

By the way, I hate Suu Kyi’s fake smile. I think her nobel prize should be recallled

Let me correct the story. A buddhist woman came to a muslim shop to sell a piece of gold jewellery. They agreed on a price. Final step is to check whether it was a real gold. The process involve rubbing the piece with a special stone. It was found real but the jewellery was broken in the process. The muslim shop owner then refuse to buy it.
He was not put into jail for not buying it. But for beating the woman after some verbal arguments.
In this case I want everybody to understand that the muslim man was perfectly right. Because it is perfectly right to cheat or to steal from non believers according to his religion. So pls understand.

I guess this article was written before Ooredoo of Qatar, a muslim country, was awarded one of two lucrative telecommunication licenses in the country? Remember there were 90 firms who wanted to bid for one of these licenses. The government must really hate muslims if they picked a Qatar firm out of all these other companies, huh?
