Egypt violence builds, American among dead
Dictatorship arises again now in Egypt!! Islam is a growing religious sect that is bent on trying to take over the world!
Down with Islam! Let there be whatever it takes to bring the downfall of Mursi!

Civil War is coming to the United States soon.
Good thing Obama sent Mursi’s Muslim Brotherhood Government tanks, fighter planes and money to put these people down. Maybe Obama can have Mursi identify his opposition and Obama can arrange some drone strikes. What the hell are we doing!
Again we see that were religion mixes with politics in the Middle East, blood and ashes soon follow. Seems not just the Middle East either, if one looks closely. How sad, as Egypt has such potential as a true secular democracy. Sad also that the US taxpayer has to foot the bill to help maintain the military there as a stabilizing factor to protect our strategic and geopolitical interests.
America may have many faults, but thank whatever Deity or not you believe in that foolishness isn’t one of them, and hasn’t been for over a century. Lets keep it that way here in the Western World, for the benefit of humanity…
@antonius2618, I wouldn’t doubt it.
It looks like some buyers remorse going on.
Prayers for Egypt in the coming hours and days. No one should be wishing ill will on the country right now. The country has great potential if everyone can just hold together.
The institution of democracy cannot succeed until it has conquered the consciousness of the public.
A people that rely on violent demonstrations rather than the ballot box should not be surprised when the most violent prevail.

The Muslim Brotherhood hijacked the revolution. It was started by liberal Egyptians wanting democracy, not a theocracy and not another dictatorship. Claiming they were elected democratically has not meaning since once elected, the MB began steps to remove democracy.
Good thing we sent them arms to put down the people. Otherwise how would this dictatorship survive?
And what they hold another vote and the Muslim Brotherhood candidate wins again. Will they demand his ouster too???
There has to be a limit to these protests.
Out with Mursi the dictator and Tyrant, religious fanatic, deviant, deceptive,Islamic fool that he is! Get a secular Government.
Down with Islamic determination for world domination!
@antonius2618
We can’t. We don’t have anyone in the U.S. smart enough to organize a decent rebellion. Besides, we have too many groups that hate each other. It’s hard to sustain a 9- or 10-sided civil war.
The Muslim Brotherhood is fooling Egypt and the world with it’s claim to legitimacy by being elected democratically. What they’ve done is to use democracy to win, then take away democracy from the people. Once you take away democracy, you cannot claim democracy as your legitimacy. It’s the same thing cold war communist parties would do: They would win democratically, then take away democracy one in power. The MB is tricking the world here and using democracy but not being democratic.
It seems every time the US intervenes in a nation’s politics for the sake of democracy, there shortly follows strife, unrest, civil war and/or defiance of US dictates.
Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya, and now Egypt. The US promotes regime change in order to secure resources such as oil and uranium. But the US government fails to consider the unintended consequences of their imperial actions. Or the true loyalties of those they arm.
Syria is next. The US will arm factions loyal to Islamic extremists and then be shocked when said extremists turn against them.
Critical thinking is not a prominant feature in DC.
We sent the army arms, you dolts, read a little bit and find out they are a separate institution from the state. The army will not step in on the side of the Islamists, but you fools are incapable of critical thinking, therefore you will think the army will strain and kill innocent protestors (which they won’t). The Egyptian Army is very different because of its ties to the West and the autonomy it has. It can be likened to the Pakistani Army institution which largely operates independent of the state.
A most astute observation “critical thinking is not a prominent feature in DC”. It should really be expaned to say “no common sense thinking is apparent in anyone in DC”. They are all slaves to special interest (ie. re-election).
I have serious doubts that anyone, of any political or religious stripe, can fix the problems that plague Egypt now. . . at least not well enough to head off civil war.
I’ve long believed the middle east was heading inevitably in that direction, and it looks like we’re really close to arrival.
These protestors are an embarrassment to Egypt. After all the sacrifices made during the revolution and the first democratic elections for a head of state they are acting like whiney spoiled brats. After the Islamic parties crushed the liberal parties in all elections since the revolution, they are crying in the streets for the ouster of a democratically elected president! It is absolutely outrageous, they seemed much happier living under brutal dictator. Fools.

it maybe as soon as Friday July 4 2013. independence day!!! USA!!!

yeah alfred we’re just doing great over here. 100 million working able folks out of a job, 50 million babies killed in the womb, 1 out of every 5 families are on food stamps, 1 out of every 3 children born in the USA is in a home without a father. yeah it’s just great over here if you compare it to a civil war. and let’s be clear it isn’t all religions that chant death to everyone else who doesn’t believe. true christianity (not the roman catholic church they are a different religion just like mormons and jehovah witnesses) seek peace with even their enemies.
The Muslim Brotherhood did not start the push for Democracy in Egypt.
They piggybacked Their Agenda on it.
Islamic Radicals are very skilled at swaying opinions at gun point.
See … Gaza Strip / Hamas.
Hardline Sharia Law is not what the Egyptian People want.
They enjoy Music and Art. They want to go to a Comedy Club where Comedians playfully poke fun at the Government.
The Arab Spring will fail because the Radicals were ” Elected “.
Power to The People of Egypt.
Note …
In My posts I do not to Use the term Islamists when I am referring to
the Radical / Extremist / Fanatical Islamists.
I know there are Many Good Islamic People around the World who just want to live in peace and enjoy life.
I would be Happy to call anyone of them Friend or Neighbor.
But these Radical Sharia law Fanatics are dangerous to Everyone.
They need to Go Away.
Then We can All live in Peace and enjoy Life.
The army of Egypt, with an officer class educated in U.S. military classrooms, will determine the fate of Egypt. Watch the way the army moves to see the fate of the country. Right now, it is the police who are fighting the protesters, not the army. When the end of Mubarack came, it was the army who made the decision, not the police or militia.
An old British friend , who teaches in Cairo, Egypt, told me some of Morsi’s clerks, Sheikhs, or Imams, who also, are Morsi’s supporters, started spreading rumors and absolute lies, to infuriate and instigate the poor and uneducated mass of Islamist ( 90% of Islamist, brotherhood Muslims, Salafist and Jihadist are both, poor and uneducated) that, the “Crusaders”, the Egyptian Christians, the Copts(since when the real people of Egypt, the Copts, the Pharos, were renamed the insulting name, the “Crusaders”? We need to ask Morsi, his Holiness) have been armed by USA and are aiming their guns at every Mosque in Egypt (Insane), that “Crusaders” are unveiling the veils from the heads of Muslim woman (double Insane), that Crusaders are rapping Muslim woman (triple Insane) and that, the 30thof June 2013 demonstration is a declared WAR on Sharia and Islam (Too much hashish/Khat).
Islamist used same insane lies and rumors against our brave soldiers in Iraq, to kill more Americans soldiers and civilians. They’re really great liars.
Also, I was told, Imams, were calling, “upon every believer, in the name of Allah, to carry arms, any arms, Guns, Knives, Metal Objects, Heavy, Baseball like Stakes, Molotov’s, Acid and go and kill as many Crusaders as they can to defend Allah, his holiness Morsi, Islam and their women”
He believes, Islamist, already, started doing that. It’s much said to mention that, the first American causality of Morsi’s supporters declared war on Crusaders, took place in the city of Alexandria, few hours, ago.
They also, asked their Friday Mosque’s attendees”, to pretend, claim, cry and lie, and call TV and radio stations and act hysterically and claim that their mosques, homes, stores, boys, girls and woman have been attacked by Crusaders to keep police busy investigating fake crimes, to give other Islamist the free hand in attacking and killing the non Islamist demonstrators, away from the police presence.
REAL PEACEFUL PEOPLE, AREN”T THEY! Please, pray for Christian people of Egypt, they are living between liars, thugs and killers. Pray for Egypt. Please, call and write house and demand that they stop spending your tax money in terrorizing and killing the people of Egypt, the COPTS.
Please, also, call and write United Nations and ask them to levy sanctions against Egypt for Human Rights Violations against Christians and humanity. To demand that Egyptian authoritarian, dictatorship, Islamist government stop the Persecution, killing and discrimination against, the real and only natives of the land of Egypt, the Copts.
I wish both sides success.
>>I know there are Many Good Islamic People around the World who just want to live in peace and enjoy life. I would be Happy to call anyone of them Friend or Neighbor.
then they are not true followers of islam. to call a muslim a fanatic by following what their holy book says is a falsehood. in fact the “fanatics” are the true muslims and the rest should be classified alongside the infidels as well.
“Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.” Koran 2:191
“Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.” Koran 9:123
“When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them.” Koran 9:5
“Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.” Koran 3:85
“The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them.”… Koran 9:30
“Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam” Koran 5:33
“Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies.” Koran 22:19
“The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.” Koran 8:65
“Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.” Koran 3:28
“Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.” Koran 8:12
“Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.” Koran 8:60
One we are not even close to civil war, americans have their disagreements but we are not acting like the egyptians either. People really need to stop saying moronic things like that. America gave the money to egypt’s military not mursi himself. The military won’t put up with Mursi’s interference in their affairs. I would rather have Obama than what we had from Bush who made our country broke, made more of the world hate us for those stupid wars and made us lose our jobs. Since Obama has been in office our economic turn around has been a lot better than the rest of the world. our employment is at it’s lowest it’s been in 7 years and the job crisis started before Obama was in office.
@ Rich F I am guessing you don’t know much about the christian religion do you. Christianity means anyone who follows the teachings of christ. Jehovah’s witnesses and mormons are both protestant sects and Catholicism is still a christian religion. There are only three branches of christianity that is Catholicism, Protestantism and Orthodox. Please study religions before you open your mouth, because from reading your statement you are quite ignorant of it. Second our country is doing pretty well as job growth has been steady and unemployment claims are at an all time low.
Reuters is really loving them some Muslim Extremest these days. Real shame to see such a reputable paper go down the tubes so fast.
@prettycool
congrats you’re wrong
you don’t know your religious history or christian theology.

Roman Catholicism and Christianity are not the same thing. Christianity is properly defined by certain doctrines that are revealed in the Bible. It is not defined by simply saying that as long as you believe in Jesus, you’re a Christian. Mormons believe in Jesus, but their Jesus is a brother of the devil in the pre-existence. The Jesus of the Jehovah’s Witnesses is Michael the Archangel. So, just saying you believe in Jesus doesn’t make you a Christian. This is why the Bible tells us who Jesus really is, God in flesh, creator of the universe. Likewise, there are essential doctrines, and if any of those essential doctrines are violated, then a church would only appear to be Christian but not really be Christian. What are those doctrines? The Bible tells us. Let’s take a look.
There is only one God and you are to serve no other gods (Exodus 20:3; Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8).
Jesus is both God and man (John 1:1,14; 8:24; Col. 2:9; 1 John 4:1-4).
Jesus rose from the dead physically (John 2:19-21; 1 Cor. 15:14).
Salvation is by grace through faith (Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:8-9; Gal. 3:1-2; 5:1-4).
The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus according to the scriptures (1 Cor. 15:1-4; Gal. 1:8-9).
God is a Trinity (Matt. 28:19; 1 Cor. 12:4-6; 2 Cor. 13:14).
Jesus was born of the virgin Mary (Matt. 1:25).
So, someone who is a true Christian will believe these things and not violate them. Roman Catholicism violates two of them (#1 and #4). First of all, by its practice of promoting Mary (and the Saints) to the level of God-like capabilities, they break the commandment to have no other gods before the true and living God. In Roman Catholicism, they say that Mary is the mediatrix (Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraph 969); Mary made atonement for the sins of man (Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma, page 213); Mary is the subject of preaching and worship (Vatican Council II, p. 420); etc.
Also, Catholicism violates the biblical doctrine of salvation by grace through faith alone. Paul the apostle, for example, tells us in Romans 4:5, “But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is reckoned as righteousness.” But Roman Catholicism denies that and says, “…so that all men may attain salvation through faith, Baptism and the observance of the Commandments,” (CCC, par 2068). Also, consider this:
“If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema” (Council of Trent, Canons on Justification, Canon 9).
So, even though Roman Catholicism claims to be Christian and that it is the one true church, it violates the essentials of the Christian faith. It goes beyond what is written in God’s word (1 Cor. 4:6). It denies the sole and true sovereignty of the living God by promoting prayer to and the worship of Mary. Also, it denies justification by faith alone in Christ alone. It is not a Christian church.
The world has become all of sudden aware of human divine identity and responsibility. This awareness is creating a shift in use of political and religious leadership to prop and support human development around the world in a time when leadership is not ready and prepared in many of the nations socioeconomic development was not a priority. Religious and political leadership that are ready to adapt will make big impact by the use of social and human resources to provide the level of request and services required for descent life of the masses or 99%. Not all leaders will be ready to adapt and make religious and political leadership work for human development particularly when there are lack of understanding of the use governance for socioeconomic development and entrepreneurship. But people and well as leaders must be willing to work together and limit social unrest that may frustrate the necessary changes required. Sometime, leadership may have to ask for help if leadership does not have the knowledge , skills and experience how to respond to human needs and concerns express during a protest and develop list for implementing changes .
What you do not expect is personalizing a protest or transition form peaceful protest to violence and personal anger. Protest in it self will not bring about the changes required. There is no need to politicized or militarized a protest let alone converting protest into violence. All government must decide if it is the best interest for a government to want to get involved or used social workers etc trained in working with protest groups meet their needs. If we do not have social workers trained to respond then we should add that in. Different times demand different ways and means. It will be interesting how social workers work with protest groups, document their protest and work with government to translate those needs inot policies, programs and services. If we are not set-up for that we should.
