Egypt protests set for showdown, violence feared
Wonder when the Egyptian military are going to take out the idiot Morsi and his brotherhood of thugs. Is Egypt going to be inundated by muslim extremists insisting on living in the tenth century?
I always like the warnings to Americans to stay home. Over 300 people were murdered in the US yesterday. But, somehow, one American killed in the last year makes Egypt more dangerous.

You could not have made a better statement than you did!!! Bang on truth except for one thing you left out. An excuse for retaliation to make strategic gains wherever the is OIL!! Please believe me and if you don,t then contact me and we could share each other’s views in a civilized friendly sharing session perhaps! Any social network you choose then I will agree and we can hook up that way Oh and Reuters?
What do you think of this idea?”
Cheers

Mursi and the Brothehood are fooling everyone with their claims of legitimacy by being elected democratically, because once in power they began taking away democracy and set up an Islamic Theocracy with little equal rights for minorities, women and non-religious people. They just used democracy to take away democracy, don’t be fooled by this talk of democratic legitimacy. To think Mursi or the Brotherhood believe in Democracy now, is a joke.
3While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?”
4And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU;5for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.6YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
7“For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.8All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.
I find it interesting that there is no mention of the fact that the young American student was a Jew.
Could there possibly have been some religious motivation? Which religion? Anybody believe he was stabbed by an Egyptian Coptic Christian?
Once again, the elephant in the room.
Egypt is in a perpetual cycle of going from bad to worse. The majority of this and other Islamic and Muslim countries have been ruled for centuries by Kings, Dictators, or Theoracries led by some fanatic Cleric(s). According to the UN survey of 2002, 40% to 70% of the citizens are illeterate, with unemployment about the same. Those who are educated are indoctrinated with religious dogma. Thus, the combination of these factors causes the population to be ignorant of the duties and responsibilities of a citizen within a “democracy”. They complain of cirsumstances, riot, cause civil unrest, and civil war, but after the rebellion they resort right back to their misguided religion, and then again select yet another dictator or religious cleric to lead them, and the cycle starts all over again. Further, after each rebellion they retaliate in the name of Jihad by murder against Christians, Jews, educated women and children, other religious sects, and any neighbor they feel did not support their view. This cycle continues over and over again and has become a generational curse. They are their own worst enemy and are doomed to destruction. The only permanent solution is to change their misguided religious fanaticism, and this will never happen.

Oh well, Egypt is solved now. I am sure they’ll just drop what they are doing and start talking now.
Oh, wow. Barry says “talk, don’t fight.” how amazingly profound.

The heck with talking…has never worked before…
Only thing they understand is killing…
More fight less talk
Guess it’s time for martial law, after Mursi gets to meet Allah. Egypt will turn into Libya, but their economy will soar, deaths will drop & tourism will return.
celt22: 250, not 300. That’s out of 313.9 million people. This is a domestic problem that we ALL can fix(if we wanted). Sorry, I’m too busy on Facebook.
Oh oh …better watch out Obama will draw a …..red line
Oh, ok Barry. And thanks for all the guns and stuff.
Ahh the Arab Spring everyone fell in love with just a little while ago…tick tock…
Social Media, FB brought to the Middle East by a Western Jew!!!
Easier said than done Obama . . . Don’t you think they have already thought of that?
No one listens to Barack Hussein Obama anymore…you voted…
“Ahh the Arab Spring everyone fell in love with just a little while ago…tick tock…”
And why would empowering Arabs would be a bad thing? Let them govern their own countries instead of having propped up authoritarian regimes whom allow for no civil society and therefore poison the population.
Ahh…the Arab Spring…brought to you by Social Media & Facebook which is brought to you by a Western Jew…
React
Not saying good or bad either way just the facts…which leads us to where we are today…
What has the “Arab Spring”, so highly anticipated two years ago, eventually brought about in Middle East and North Africa?
Egypt is at the brink of civil war, Syria already lost near 100,000 lives and still counting, Libya remains unsettling, Yemen and Bahrain (threatened by severe undercurrents) are uneasy.
Which nations would want to take responsibility for the current scary mess?

This is why Muslims don’t trust secular democracy—we win
the elections then are not allowed to rule. Sorry, but the
bad old days of repressing Islam are over; Muslims are now
ready and able to defend our rights to power.
