Please Contact your Congressmen and women and ask them to keep in mind this is a huge waste of our tax dollars to even open the horse slaughter industry for a few months and divert money to the horse slaughter industry that is needed in the food sources we ACTUALLY use in America. We also need to ask they continue to support the Safe Act as now we are under pressure to make certain that adulterated horse meat does NOT leave the USA with our inspectors approval. This is a very Un-American industry and we need to protect ourselves and our international friends and families from eating this drugged horse meat. The FSIS says they are going to use the standards for goat meat as they have no set standards for checking horse meat-this would never happen in cattle so why is it occurring in horses? We are American Tax Payers, we have worked very hard for EVERY DOLLAR and we CANNOT allow this to happen when 80 percent of America doesn’t want it to happen. That’s even more than JUST horse owners! So we really know what we don’t want! Please sign the petition on change.org under animals entitled Petition to OVerturn the LEgalization of the SLaughter of Horses for Human Consumption… Please Contact your Congressmen and women ask them for their support to stop the slaughter! WE need to be pro-active.

A VERY SAD day for animals rights. This is a horrible mistake. The ASPCA did everything they could to have this practice stopped. Still, the Machiavellian minded power brokers win once again. Maybe they, each who voted approval, will soon be unbeknownst eating horse meat for their steak tar tar at the Montpelier Room…and then be told as they sip on their brandies. 2 more plants? Is there anyone in that chamber with ears & a heart of stewardship for our best friends? Anyone???

USDA like a few other morally and criminally corrupted US government departments commonly make “rulings” which have zero moral or legal legitimacy. Every single psychotic employee of their bribing partners in crime in “Valley meat” from the bottom of that monster organization to their top sleazy managers, have already proved they are a serious threat to society. They are bloody sadists and criminals who are a threat not only to our pets but to children and to families. “Valley meat” “employees” and managers are no more than a criminal gang that should and must be taken down immediately and incarcerated for life in prisons reserved for the worst offenders since they pose such a threat to decent society.

The only problem with eating horses is that it offends American taboos. We are no different from Indians who don’t eat cattle, or Jews and Muslims who don’t eat pork. All irrational, all rooted in historical prejudices, and all retroactively justified by activists who claim there is something “unhealthy” about that kind of meat.
