I belong to the American Civil War Historical Re enactment Society based in Toronto Canada. We have close to 90 members portraying union & confederate soldiers, civilian, artillery, and medical personnel. It’s a little known fact that over 50,000 Canadian fought on both sides of the war and 4 reached the rank of General. Close to 30 of our members will be attending the event this weekend and will be joined by 9 members of another re enactment group coming from Spain. We all share in this rich heritage.
