there should be no wildland fire fighting within this Forest Type. Chaparral is designed to burn! Chaparral has evolved for thousands of years to regenerate after large intense fires. The vegetation is dense thick and dry.
Why are people allowed to purchase land and build homes inside this obviously very hazardous environment?
