Gamers/PC tech enthusiasts are starting to realize the joy of actual tech freedom.

No overpriced garbage that loads spyware or DRM. No crap that limits the individual.

You want more sales, understand the needs of the customers. PCs and open source can be tinkered with/modified, which lets the consumer create their own options. For example, why should I purchase windows VIII? It is nothing more than an overpriced phone app. (Linux is free, open source and a lot more stable.

I grew up on Microsoft (from DOS – windows VII) now I am a Linux man.

Advice:

/Ditch the X-Box/
and develop a low-end (mini-form factor) PC With hardware/os that is fully COMPATIBLE with a standard pc.
Reason: The casual gamer (non-techie) will like its small form-factor, low cost and ability to swap cases/lights/ect. The Tech enthusiasts will like to swap/mod the hardware (using standard/miniaturized pc parts.)

/Revamp windows OS/
What makes Linux a good OS?
It is free and it is completely customizable.

Why not create an affordable OS that is all about compatibility/customizable. The majority loves the standard Windows layout and lets face it, the new Windows VIII layout was just an attempt at the trending tablets.
