Part of me wishes I still lived in Kentucky so I could do more to get the chief obstructionist scumbag McConnell out of office. But the good news is my mother feels the same way I do and she will do all she can in the state to make sure McConnell loses. Ms. Grimes has a well earned reputation in the state, so she might have a chance. The bad news is that the VAST majority of the states residents outside the Louisville area are so backward in their thinking that it hard to counter this from the educated voters in Jefferson County/Louisville. There is a reason that one county brings in like 75% of the revenue for the whole state.

“Just last year, Alison Lundergan Grimes stood proudly at the Democratic National Convention to nominate Barack Obama, who has followed through on his promise to destroy the coal industry; in essence declared a war on the state of Kentucky and the middle class families who call it home,” the statement said.

“Guilt by association?” Typical GOP fear, uncertainty and doubt.
