A very tiny step. There is no conviction or even interest to move higher, not with all the uncertainty. It would be nice to at least hear if the debt ceiling will be raised in the next 48 hours. If not maybe the US government is heading for another shutdown. How many times does this have to happen? what happens if the government defaults on it’s loans? Can China move into the White House and claim the real estate? Wouldn’t that be funny.

The Nikkei on a slide again. We new that their QE was not sustainable and artificially lower the yen. The US government QE is different or is it?
