Given that Clapper has not been prosecuted for perjury before Congress, nothing the Administration has to say has any credibility.

They have all this security equipment, tracing calls, etc but they didn’t know Snowden (contract employee)was on a plane flying to China with NSA laptops and data? I think they’re lacking security honestly, I mean if they’re tracing all calls, data on the WWW then how come they didn’t know about Snowden and others that have invaded the country. Now they say Snowden ruined 50+ terrorist plots that were going to attack the USA. I don’t think we have professionals running the NSA but then again, look at Congress and Senate LOL.. It’s a joke right? LOL

Between WikiLeaks, Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden it is becoming clearer and clearer every day why no investigations were ever allowed of the Bush/Cheney administration, especially in relation to the crimes associated with the war in Iraq. Remember Nancy Pelosi stating, “Impeachment is off the table.” Remember also that Obama did not allow the Justice Department to investigate the crimes of the Bush/Cheney administration after he was elected. Who knows what would have crawled out from under that rock. It’s becoming clearer and clearer every day that the United States intelligence organizations are controlling the President and Congress rather than the other way around. We have one stunningly out of control situation here and this is most likely just the tip of the iceberg.

Speaking from north of the border, I’m afraid our Conservative government and its federal security apparatus, including the federal police (the RCMP and the Security Intelligence Services), are tethered to the NSA and jointly operate similar and total anti-democratic surveillance on ordinary Canadian citizens — perhaps all of us.
