President Viktor Yanukovich obviously represents and works for Vladimir Putin, not the people of the Ukraine.

Perhaps, if the people of the Ukraine actually do what would be required to stop Yanukovich from selling them out, a message would be sent to all governments that they should fear their people. I doubt they will do much but complain since most people world wide seem to have lost the taste for freedom and prefer to be controlled by their own cowardice, never willing to take that final step, except in the psychotic middle east.

Yanukovych already traded Sevastopol and got nothing in return.
Putin could have reduced the price of gas a long time ago.
The Russians created an energycrisis but were blaming the Ukrainians.
The Russians are and have been using foodimports as a “weapon”.
This week they are threatening Norwegian salmon exports and they are doing the same with Dutch cheese. With friends like Putin you don’t need enemies.

Yanukovich is playing both sides against each other to get the best deal.

Seriously, to denounce him as pro-Putin is a sign of cognitive deficit.

Shame on western european countries continuously preying on the weak globally. All they can offer is 610,000,000 dollars to a country of 47,000,000. Only uninformed people can not see that Russia offers a better deal plus offering what every Ukrainian needs to keep warm during winter season at a price they can afford.

In truth a trade deal with Europe would simply bunkrup Ukraine as its industries can not compete with Germany’s for instance. Massive unemployment would ensue as a result. Greece, portugal, and that other country that seized depositors’money to pay corrupt western bankers are good example(oh yeah I remember the name now:Cyprus)

Ukraine would like to trade with Europe. Ukrainian engineers and computer scientists would like to sell their services and products to Europe. Why stop them from competing? This has nothing to do with loans. King Putin fears a successful Ukraine. A successful Ukraine won’t take King Putin’s orders.

Ukraine is like Olive Oyl, Russia is like Bluto, and the EU is like Wimpy, and Popeye is dead. I do not envy the choices the Ukrainian people have to make.

That being said, what does the EU have to offer Ukraine? Higher energy (the EU requires that Ukraine hike their energy prices by 40%), a Muslim problem, and a bank account haircut (think Cyprus)? The EU will stripmine Ukraine ecomonically and culturally and turn it into a hell-hole.
