Sick wrong and immoral, who is this wretched fiend of a judge what believes that he can tell the people of Utah what they should think or do!! The founders of this nation are rolling over in their graves at the judicial tyranny! Its time that these despots be overthrown!!!

Once again, we are witnessing the unedifying behaviour of the Mormon church who cannot accept that everyone is equal under a loving God and deserves respect. Mormon bigotry and persecution of blacks, and now gays has to stop.
What we are witnessing here by state officials, who are also obedient Mormons, is downright blatant homophobia. They are thrashing about like infidels because they are not being allowed to treat their fellow human beings like sub humans, as they currently do in Utah.
Put all Mormon officials in jail if they won’t obey the law of the land.
Mormons are not above the law, although their secret Temple oaths suggest differently.

The article refers to “same sex couples”. Shouldn’t that read “abnormal sex couples”?

ArribaJuarez: Referring to same-sex couples as “abnormal sex” couples shows as in the case with racists, bigots will always continue to exist who have nothing better to do than post derogatory comments about others.

Just because certain groups don’t meet “your” criteria of what “normal” is doesn’t mean you have to categorize them as “abnormal”. Intelligent people learn to respect and tolerate our differences, whereas insensitive jerks (like you) who have to belittle others apparently doesn’t understand that.

BlueOkie, “Sin” is a Judeo-Christian religious construct that has no place in secular government policy guided by the US Constitution. I am so glad that the Establishment Clause in the First Amendment protects me from people like you.

Senator Hatch, 20 years ago you would have been all for this same-sex marriage. You have done a 180 over the years.

My senator Manchain is in a 170 degree turn now.

Where does all this hate come from? The average gay person is not asking for martyrdom. They just want the God-given ability to legally unite with their chosen mate. There are red words in my Bible that document what Jesus said. Jesus is the new law…so please quit using the Old Testament to justify intolerance. I will bet anyone, anything, that your lifestyle would not meet-up to Old Testament “values.”
