So Governor, how about you put forth what you consider as standards. You have 3 fingers pointing back at you. You might also want to put some better standards on tracks, and also how trains are scheduled.

We need infrastructure, turning the oil tanks into an armored vehicle burdens the rails. This accident was due to two trains, not one. With proper rail infrastructure this would not have happened.

Love it when these government-hating Republicans demand more government regulations. Of course regulators missed a couple of weeks of work when the Republican bozos shut down the government. So make up your mind what you want or at least tone down the anti-government rhetoric.

This has the earmarks of a rush to no good end. The so called runaway train in Quebec was caused by an error made by fire fighters. Another wreck cited in this article involved a crash with another derailed train. Tank cars may require design changes. Let’s try getting the best people working together on this one ASAP. Reacting to headlines and the people who delight in making them is rarely a good path to follow.
