Many people are still buying Coach products but instead of paying the high Coach prices, they are buying cheap Chinese knock offs.

Most times when people buy them they do not know they are knock offs.

Coach has become its own “Chinese Knock off.” I come from a family of Coach carriers. I got my first Coach 25 years ago for my 16th birthday. I have more than 20 bags and stopped purchasing them 5 years ago as the difference in quality was so obvious that it was disturbing. I thought the quality would go back up again, but it did not. Instead of keeping Coach what it had been so successful at for more than half a century it decided to saturate the market and appeal to everyone. It has become nothing more than an overpriced label and nothing about the company today reflects its tradition and beautiful craftmanship that used to be Coach. They no longer create and make, they simply manufacture cheap products out of China.

Last time I purchased a Coach bag, when I got home & opened the package, it smelled terribly of mildew – like it had been very wet & dried out poorly. I took it back to the store & they just shrugged it off. “Oh well” was their response (including no answer to emails to company). That was the last time I was in a Coach store.
