So many not working and the others ones working hard paying taxes to support them. So, what’s all about getting voters because gifts? or benefits? or religious matters?

Mylena, you realize the non-working poor already had Medicaid? This just puts more people who ALREADY HAVE JOBS into the program. I would rather see the minimum wage triple so these hard working people can afford to pay for their own health care, rather than me paying to keep some corporation’s employees healthy, but this is a good start.

Well, there may be 6.3 million new Medicaid card holders, but where will they go for medical care?

Doctors are getting out of medicine in record numbers and many of those that remain are not accepting new Medicaid patients.

I suppose the next step may be to pass a new law sanctioning doctors who don’t accept medicaid patients, but our collectivist advocates won’t have any doctors to left to service their collective, sanctions or not. So, maybe we will need a law forcing all individuals who have a license to stay in practice. Land of the free, home of the (etc.) …

The politicians want to force a majority onto the government welfare rolls so they can keep them beholden to the government and voting for the liberals. The part that a lot of liberal voters do not understand is that the politicians are owned by the elite. The elite are the puppeteers. The whole (PC) political correct cram down has been part of the master plan. The green ribbon mentality has been shoved onto our society and we now have a couple of generations of people that do not have the drive and passion to suceed and some can not function without the government. Better turn the ship around before it is too late. The end is not a good place for anyone.

You Americans are crazy. You prefer to pay for wars than to help your fellow citizens in need to get basic healthcare (you prefer to see them dying than having the possibility to live??). Society is getting really selfish. I really find it incredible, that you prefer to see people die than to pay e bit more so everybody has a chance to get a cure (I am talking about healthcare, not work, luxury things or other things, This is really shocking).

Ed84: please don’t confuse these vile, selfish neanderthals with the rest of America – they are just fascists, wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross. They hate America, the real one; what they love is their idea of what they want America to be.

Most Americans are moderate, leaning left, but politically apathetic, so you’ll never hear from them. The rest of us who do care are just waiting for that first group, the loud obnoxious ones, to die of old age so we can get on with fixing our societal problems.

I hope those for which are waiting to die are really young so it will be a long time before your grandiose “transformation” never happens…but we both know you mean old people don’t you…which is sickening to me but not for an ungrateful progressive liberal lemming like you…

It’s funny how you see the same people on here every single day, posting non-stop… like “USofRationality”… and also those same people supporting this kind of crap and whining about how terrible everything is. Lets see… People who obviously have nothing better to do than screwing around on the internet all day… supporting a style of government that supports doing nothing, and expecting somebody else to pay your bills for you. Gee, what a shock.

I purchased my latest policy 14 months ago. It has been increased twice in just the last two months, due to the Obama BS. It is now over $70 more than when I started, just a little over a year ago. I’m 47 years old. Apparently I’m one of the “young people” expected to pay more. I didn’t realize being 47 was considered “young”. This this great.

All you idiots in other countries whining about how terrible we are… Why don’t you come over here and help pay for a while… See how much you like helping to pay the bills for all the hordes of poor and uneducated people that come pouring over our borders by the millions. Feel free to write a check if you’re so concerned about your fellow humans. Any of you hypocrites want to verbally donate some money to the cause right now? Yeah, didn’t think so.

Don’t worry, us responsible people will just keep working ourselves to death, so the losers can sit at home and watch daytime TV, and surf the net. I already work most weekends and many holidays, but I’ll try to work a little harder. Eventually people like me will be punished right into the poor house, and then there won’t be anybody left. So enjoy it while it lasts fools… Nationwide Detroit-ism is right around the corner.
