Extreme weather is a sign of global warming according to the Obama adminstration. How laughable! They can’t even predict the weather a week in advance, or even a day accurately. What makes them think they can predict climate change. Sea levels have been rising for 10,000 years at an average of .5 inches per year. So according to liberals, that proves it was George Bush’s fault.

This story is meaningless….the south can just endure.. like we up north do every winter, instead of buying fracking spirits, buy a shovel and get to work…get over it.

By the way, when the big hurricane hit last year it was the dirty south and their pathetic republicans who had no sympathy for NJ NY RI, MA, or CT when we got slammed….. I hope you guys dont whine and beg for assistance you shouldnt get any.

Good grief you would think the world was coming to an end. When I was school age, I lived in a mining town of some hundred thousand people and we regularly had days with minus 40F temperatures. I don’t ever remember the schools closing. We walked to school in those day,s not far but several blocks and we simply dressed for the cold. No one froze to death either on the way to school or on the way home. All of this hype is simply selling newspapers. Schools don’t have to close just dress the kids properly.

LiamKnuj – So, the current administration, which agrees with 97% of climate scientists, (extensively trained in climate science) are wrong, and you are right? YOU are laughable!

They didn’t used to close schools in this weather. What’s different now? At least we don’t hear hoohahs about storms of the century or storms of the millenniums.
